I gave this movie 3 stars because it wasn't that good. The ending was confusing and seem like something was left out. Chadwick Bosemans performance was exceptional. His monologue to God is shocking and leaves one wondering if those were his true feelings. His last scene showcases the demons his character is dealing with. The use of the N word is spouted more than these rappers sing in a rap. I wasn't impressed with that. Felt like a Quinton Tarantino movie. Viola Davis performance was good. Couldn't figure out why she was always sweaty and her makeup was constantly smeared. Made her look like a racoon. ********Follow up******** 2nd view of the movie and I gave it 4 stars. It is really good. The acting is superb. Oscar worthy.
