The second series was much more violent and involved Mexican drug cartels. Billy Bob's character is so compelling. He epitomizes the concept that you can't judge a book by his cover. Written off as a has-been drunk he manages to pull himself together and create a major challenge for those who oppose him. Unfortunately, the extreme violence and dark cartel characters were less enjoyable for me than the first series.
