I'm halfway through this movie on tubi and almost from the beginning was reminded of the Star Trek episode where Kirk meets up with a mad scientist who has developed a female robot who he manipulates to fall in love with Kirk. Then the mad scientist in this movie brings up Star Trek and this inspiration for this movie is clear. By the way, the mad scientist character in this movie is really annoying. A really weird movie which I'm not enjoying. Although the sets, or someone's actual home, are really beautiful.

Loved this book the first time I read it, re-read it all the time. Extremely well written the story just flows. The first time I read it I couldn't put it down and just kept reading. After all these years the cover is torn and the spine is bent - a well loved book, featuring a main character that everyone can identify with on one level - that of feeling alone.
