This movie could have been really good if the main characters had actually lost someone. They hid in a bathroom and experience nothing then dramatically behave like they were actually affected just by hearing gunshots go off. This is coming from a person who is actually experienced first hand the effects of someone being killed in front of them. It takes a lot of therapy and a lot of hard work and you never really come back from it. That being my actual personal experience and knowing real loss this movie is an insult to the people that have actually experienced real trauma. It's an insult to people who have actually lost their lives in school shooting. Because this movie does not whatsoever focus on the real issue. Two girls who experienced nothing are followed as the main characters meanwhile they had a male character covered in blood that could have been followed who actually lost his brother. Why not follow the character who actually experienced trauma. Why not follow the character who had someone he loved killed in front of him. Why not follow the murderer and give us some explanation of what happened. My opinion on this movie is it's an insult and pretty much making fun of people who go through trauma. Picking someone who wasn't even truly affected and just showing them downright being overdramatic about it. You heard some gunshots and hid in a bathroom yet you act like you just watched your mom die in front of you. It's a really big insult to someone who actually has suffered in life. But hey I can't really blame a writer who doesn't understand trauma because apparently they've never experienced it themselves if there was a choice to give zero Stars I would. Honestly this movie made me more Angry than anything I did at least appreciate the character taking time to go to all the victims funerals but honestly I felt like she was just doing that for her own personal sympathy. When someone dies and you make it all about you and make yourself the center of attention you're kind of just disgusting. Because a lot of people dealing with trauma tend to bottle it and lie and tell other people that they're okay when they're really not. This movie could have been great but it's terrible just outright terrible and for anyone that's really suffered it is completely unrelatable.
