This movie is not for everyone. Please ignore the unecessarily harsh reviews below, especially the one by Miss Aishwarya. I repeat, it is not for everyone. But if you are someone who is passionate about the beautiful game, it is for you. Moreover, if you are a fan or admirer of Argentina or the magician Lionel Messi, this movie will fill your heart with joy. The ones who have given negative reviews are simply the ones that do not understand the passion and frenzy a football fan feels, especially at the time of the World Cup. Similar to Lucifer, this is a tribute film made by a fanboy director to a game, a team and man that he so admires and anyone who shares his love for the beautiful game will understand what he has conveyed through the movie. I admit, I too am a football crazed person and consider Lionel Messi as someone personally sent by God to give joy to millions like me. Therefore I am extremely grateful to the director for making this film. I personally believe that this film was made for people like me, and it has given us immense joy, so no matter what the critics say, I hope the director knows that the movie is a success. It has perfectly channeled and exhibited the emotions undergone by a die hard Argentina fan over the last few decades. It brought back to me, memories of me sitting alone with tears in my eyes as I looked at Leo stare forlornly at the trophy. Every event and character the movie shows is a reflection of ones that really exist in reality and the movie is for them. For us. So if you are one of us, do not miss out on this wonderful tribute to the beautiful game.
