I loved the books: Philip Reeve is one of the great British fantasists (His "Here Lies Arthur" was great too.) But the movie came to Stoke-on-Trent, after weeks of trailers, and disappeared almost immediately. We would have to go to Manchester ot Wolverhampton to see it. Annoyed, and bitterly disappointed.
