I have grown up practically surrounded by 80s music. Journey, Def Leppard, Steely Dan, Santana, Bon Jovi are just SOME of the artists. It wasn’t until quarantine when my dad began to play “Who’s Crying Now,” and “Ask The Lonely” on repeat. After hearing them being played, I began to fall in love with those songs, eventually the Escape and Frontiers albums, and then practically Journey’s entire discography. Steve Perry truly has a voice unlike any other. This album proves that even though he is older than he was in some of my all-time favorite albums like Raised on Radio, Perry still has talent that is beyond some of today’s new and coming artists. I hope one day I am lucky enough to see 'The Voice’ himself live. This album alone makes me want to cry . . . imagine seeing it live . . holy cow. A girl can dream, right?

I am in awe by the unique videography in this film. Not only does it capture lost innocence, but it develops not only the characters, but the setting as well. There were multiple moments when I was convinced that the movie was a documentary. Although I am quite young and it is hard to grasp on the idea of adult and motherhood, the life of Moonee is pronounced vividly. The kid can swear like a sailor! The actors are incredible and the story is captivating and heart-breaking all at once. My heart goes out to all the people who deal with this on a daily basis. Although I do not witness it, I am more cognizant than ever on what truly happens out of my little bubble. This film really enlightened me and the ending practically had my falling off of my seat. I hope there will be a second movie in the future, and if not, I will let my mind wander as far as it can to concoct the sweetest idea of Moonee’s future life. I am glad I took the time to watch this film. I have no regrets and will most definitely recommend the film to my friends. Absolutely incredible.
