This is a great show, you guys are just hating. Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could've sucked so hard but IT DIDN'T. It ain't perfect it has it's flaws. Like why couldn't they explore the Hidden City a lot more? How come when the turtles are in real danger they don't bring their mystic weapons?? How come there is a Hidden City in the first place? Where was Mayhem in season 2? Speaking of season 2, WHY WAS IT CUT SHORT?!?! Anyway, animation. Spectacular and wisely used. Characters. Not what we're used to with the TMNT franchise but still well written. Plot. Despite the show being more episodic than story driven, the plot works very well by only really exploring them in the 22 minute specials. While in the 11 minute episodes hint at what's coming next. Season 1 does this a lot with the dark armor story and having certain episodes connect with others. Like for example, the episodes "Repo-Mantis" and "Hynpo: Part Deux" take place at the same time. Even the less plot-driven episodes are fun. Like "Minotaur Maze", doesn't exactly expand the story but it's an entertaining enough episode if you just want to kill 11 minutes. So yeah. This show is great. If you guys really hate it, just give it another chance. I'd normally just only recommend watching the entire first season, but considering that the series reached it's finale. I have to say just watch the entire series. 4/5
