The Gentlemen - This Guy Ritichie film was an excellent movie performed in an unusual style with elegance, charisma, dry humor and experienced actors from Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant, Michelle Dockery, Charlie Hunnam, and more. The plot was sometimes difficult to follow but these gentlemen exemplified the lives of extraordinary gangsters who will and deal to maintain their high profiles lives and drug empires. Matthew performance was sensational when he almost was shot and ran out the coffee shop to save his wife from Dry Eye, who raped her. The cinematography and direction was magnificient. My opinion this movie was a 8.0

Doctor Little becomes more fantastic each year it is made. This 2020 version of the film had exceptional direction, the animals seem to easily follow suit with their lines and moves. The cinematography excellent,, the natural lighting was sensational. The sets were to scaled, straight out of a fairytale and it was phenomenal when Dr. Dolittle arrived at the Palace on an Ostrich to see the Queen. Theatrics - Dr. Dolittle's dog Aced it when the dog smeledl the Queen. the theatrics seem so real, it was unbelievable. Robert Downey Jr. played a phenomenal role when he breathed new life into John's squirrel. The scene where Robert Downey, Jr. gambles with the bugs whom seem to be his match, and reveals his lover, Sheila are magnificent. Another heart racing scene was pulsating, Downey's fight with the Tiger (his enemy) that tempted his life before his friends rescued him. My opinion this movie rated an 8.0.

Uncut Gems - This movie was face paced and quite startling. Adam Sandler carried his stardom to complete excellence. He was jewelry dealer always gambling his lot and in debt. He was a Boston Celtic fan with high stake customers and his family was clientele. The location and set was unbelieveable, the jewelry store was in an contemporary building that had locked doors, with a doorbell that often got stuck. The significance of the doorbell was potent, Basketball Star - Garnet paid Howard (Adam Sandler) $160,000 for diamond opal uncut, instead of paying off his family (Bookies) he asked his girlfriend Julia to put the money on a Celtic game. She immediately went to the Casino to play the game, while Howard kept his Bookies locked in a small room with no air watching him, watch the Celtic Basketball game. The Celtics won, Howard unlocked the door and was shot down by his Bookies. I never scene Adam Sandler in such a passionate role, fighting for love and money. My rating 8.5

This movie was a fun-filled musical for the entire family to enjoy. The storyline was hard to determine about a group of cats called Jellicles who had to determine who will go to the Heavens Layer and return to Jellicle for life. The direction was very good with musical steps and song. The choreography was outstanding, it looked as though the actors had a good time on stage. The costumes were magnificent in style, print selection, colors and each cat was different from the next. My opinion this movie is a 7.5

Spies in Disguise was quite interesting with the state of the art mechanisms that can do away with evil intruders without killing them. This movie was about inventing gadgets and mechanics that can defeat our enemies foreign and domestic without destroying a country or planet and still survive the villian who is taken away in handcuffs rather than a body bag. The animation was sensational, always impressed at how modern and state of the art these movies are becoming on the big screen. Lance Sterling and his scientist Beckett overcome the evil Robo when gadgets that become more fun that treacherous. My opinion this movie tops at 7.0.

Bombshell was an excellent movie with outstanding performances from Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman. The storyline hit home with a lot of women who have been harrassed on the job by their male and sometimes female superiors. Charlize Theron stole the show when she decides to support a distant colleague played by Nicole Kidman. Theron's harrasment case went public to support many women who had been harrassed on the job. Nicole Kidman was overwhelming grateful with Theron's decision that was noticeable at the end of the movie when the two women eyes meet in agreement in passing. My opinion this movie was an 8.5.

Jennifer Lopez and her supporting actresses gave an outstanding performance in the The Hustler. This movie was an excellent story of strippers who become comfortable about their profession and strive to advance in their chosen career. Jennifer's character was exciting and powerful she taught the new girls how to survive and make more money "fishing" (prostituting) with Wall Street Executives before they are caught and sentenced to community service. My opinion this movie was an 8.0

This Christmas - Katarina now goes by Kate who hooks up with a guy at a bar and sleeps at his place. She stays at his apartment overnight, he leaves in the morning and she is left to shower alone. When she is greeted by the man's wife, who kicks Kate out onto the street, leaving her to lament about why her life is bad. Kate becomes more enthused at her surroundings, even though it takes time, we find a wholesome young adult who has a vibrant life, lives for family and friends and enjoys her jobs and her past time actives. My opinion this movie rates a 6,5. I believe it is an original storyline.

Knives Out was a mystery of full of trivial and truths about a family waiting to inherit their father's estate, company and inheritance only to find out that Detective Blanc suspected most of the family of Harlan's death, betting on only one survivor, Harlan's nurse Marta. The actors were in full bloom, devastingly excellent parts. The set was good with enough dark lighting to set the tone of the movie for this family mystery. The actors were in good costume, excellent silhouettes in dressing and the perfectly colored suits for murder the murder scene and interrogations. My opinion this movie was a 7.5

Ford vs. Ferrari - This movie was most fascinating with some of the best acting I have seen all year. Matt Damon brings it home in this movie when he is challenged to represent Ford as a competitor to Ferrari, having to build an automobile that achieve the same results or better than the top of line Ferrari. The acting was superb, the storyline was incredible and the main theme of the movie was captured towards the end, when Ford's mechanic and driver had moved up in the race and speed past all his competition leaving them behind. Once he acknowledge this moment, he became humble slowed down and caught up with the last two drivers in the race. Ford was a "winner", however Ferrari took home the spoils. This movie was magnificent and my opinion is 8.5%.
