First and foremost, this series is truly original and 200% worth your time - more so, if you love cinema - especially the black and white era! After a very long time, I watched something Indian which is so well written and so well made. You fall in love with each character ridden with equal amounts of good and evil, overpowering passion and a sense of misplaced self-righteousness! Every actor outshines the other, every reference to the real era steals your heart and all the songs inspired by the originals are equally melodious! If only we had more such makers, our soulful actors (the likes of Ram Kapoor) would have been spared a lifetime of waste on daily soaps. Aparshakti is tremendously lucky to have landed that role and yes, he does full justice to it. But my heart skipped a beat for Jay & Nilofer too! And of course, Ram Kapoor's Walia Saab is unforgettable.

This is a series thay builds up hope, but fails to deliver miserably! The ending was so deceiving, it ruined the whole experience for me. I was promised a psychological thriller, which suddenly became a supernatural series devoid of any logic. Firstly, as Indian audience, we are so familiar with souls leaving bodies and entering other people's bodies in our B-grade, C-grade films, it's enough to sour the series. But then, the series doesn't acknowledge the fact that essentially a persona will remain unchanged no matter which body it is in. I mean a man who's an addict and broke and French suddenly acts perfectly mlfeminine and speaks English without the tinge of any accent overnight. And the husband never even utters a word about his wife being very different from the girl he loved! To me, the series was very interesting in the beginning but the twist in the end just brought the whole thing down, not to mention the gaping holes in the plot. The two stars I gave is for it's lead actor and actress. The suspense was great until the big reveal in the end.

Don't watch it if you want to watch something rational. It's a dark satire, little bit immature and rough at the edges but enjoyed watching it... May be not so much as a whole series but, rather the smaller sequences that made it up. At least it is vastly different and I simply loved the cute robots, including the cupboard robot, who was really the hero of the series "Ajeeb". The comedy was dark but it did make me laugh... Long way to go... But, I'm happy the makers made a start.

A deranged tale, dark and violent and I guess the audience can build their own version of the story. The director sort of sets the context and fills it up with despeakable gore. Although riveting, it is slightly slow at times but you can call it treatment. Overall its a good watch but at the end you only feel an inexplicable emptiness, unsure of how you should feel and may be that's what the makers intended to do. The madness revealed at the end appears to transcend the story and emulate an allegory. If you are about to watch this, keep your mind open and be ready to think. This is not a conventional thriller served on a platter (no pun intended).
