Beginning was great that turned sour. I love science and pseudoscience and even fictional/story science. Personally, the film focused on tool of contrast, making the experiment seem light and positive, then turning it into dark and eerie. However, that was the only tool for horror. Once it occurred, the scare factor drastically dropped, and the genre of psychological becomes questionable. The film is not bad. I just wanted more. Something a little more risky and imaginative, just have a scientific system regardless if the science is purely fictional or factual.

Refreshing. Instead of a zombie apocalypse from a disease, we get a vampire apocalypse (potentially). For a fictitious series, great. For a heavy sci-fi one, not so much. I like the science behind, but everything was too convenient, and the plot was predictable due to the convenient transitions. I want to watch more to see if it stays on the science side or the political side. I prefer the science, so I hope they do a little more research on the subject and how to approach it more realistically.

I am a brain dead individual who needs some excitement that is mostly stimulated through comedy and gore. This has both. This has the aspects of loss and renewal in both sense of dying to undying, and changes that comes from the idea of losing someone physically or mentally. But not that deep... well, maybe... just the main family. That being said, I need more.
