I'm disappointed. I have found that for MCU it has become always about the next thing and they aren't focusing on the current project.
I believe it was all a clever plan to leak the involvement of Andrew and Tobey and NOT admitting it to the media just to get the movie hyped. And boy, did they get successful ? The reason I said this is because, even they knew that putting three Spider-Man won't be enough. Which is why they took help of this clever marketing hack. Which certainly worked.
Now getting to the exact part that I found disappointing. WHERE WAS THE ACTION ?? Really, where were the action sequences ? If you think about it you will know there were so many scenes where we cheered and whistled in every Spider-Man solo movie. Like, in Sam Raimi's: The scene with the subway (I would have mentioned more scenes like that but I was a kid when I saw those movies and do not remember much). In Andrew Garfield's: Where he put on the mask again in the sequel, where he saved the school kids in a bus, when he saved people from Electro. In Tom Holland's: when he held the ship in Homecoming, when he fought those drones just by his spidey sense, duh ! All those scenes were awesome and most of us had goosebumps watching them. And what do we have here in No Way Home ? Three Spider-Men just swinging around ? Really ?
There was so much more that three of the Spider-Men could do together. But let alone three Peters, even one Peter didn't have any of such scene.
MCU is becoming over confident into their future endeavours. So much so that they seem to be in a rush. Like it's always about the next thing. If they keep going like this, soon people will reject the MCU movies.
