It was amazing!! The way they portrayed people who suffer from a real mental disorder caused by severe trauma as dangerous and violent was beautiful. I mean yeah, sure, you worsened the stigma around a disorder that was already not very well known at the time, but hey! The main characters were cute! Never mind that people who actually have DID aren’t any more dangerous than the average person. Let’s just use the suffering of actual people as a horror trope! Haha! And the wall climbing? Amazing. I didn’t even know each person who had DID was secretly Spider-Man. If only someone had told me. This movie was so incredibly informative! Why did I never think of the idea to profit off the pain of actual people even though I created a bunch of harmful stereotypes in the process? It was just brilliant. Might be seriously offensive to people who actually suffer from it, but brilliant.
