As a horror buff, such a let down to the original film. They essentially took the “idea” Of candyman and shoved it into a politically woke film, take out the 3 mediocre kill scenes and you can wipe it off the horror genre completely. I had such high hopes for this and loved the idea of recreating this classic film with modern day SFX, but sadly it was simply an insult to the original creation of Candyman.
