Miller's Girl is poetry in film, it's passionate and powerful. It easily depicts the heady nature of unrequited teenaged girls love. The prose is perfect, it encourages extreme sexuality and sexual tension without the need for nudity. Both Martin Freeman and Jenna Ortega were perfect for these roles. The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 is because I wanted more.

First off this film is very long, it's not just long, it's heavy. So go into it aware of that. That being said, this movie was brilliant. The score was absolutely perfect, I can't off the top of my head think of another score so perfectly aligned with the scenes as this. The acting was superb, it was like every person in this film was acting to save their lives, I can't say more about that. As far as the storyline goes, it was extremely well done, a lot of biopics can be too far out of the box or so true to life that they end up boring, this was neither. I absolutely loved this film. However, if you want glitzy, action or anything like that, this film is not for you, this film is intellectual and emotional. If you have 3 hours, and an interest in ethics, this film is for you.

Wow, so this film pushes many boundaries and definitely goes against what many people would find comfortable, on multiple levels. There are the ideas of sex, relationships, eugenics, evolution, bodily autonomy, medical ethics, art, and so much more. It's less of a story and more of a concept. Worth the watch for sure.

I really like this movie, it's a twisting tale into trauma, conspiracy, mental health and folie a deux. Very small cast but they all play their parts well. It's sad and intriguing, and leaves you wanting answers.

If you like Guillermo Del Toro you'll love this film, it is beautiful in every way, cinematically outstanding, the score is spellbinding, and the story is as usual heart wrenching. I thought all the actors did a fantastic job but the chemistry between Tom and Mia was palpable. I loved it.

Wow, I loved this film, despite it being hard to watch almost from start to end. Hard to watch because you can see every decision and every choice he makes is the wrong one, the film is heavy and dark, we want the to be champions in films, but in this there are none, there are no winners, no one to rally for. You come out of it feeling hurt and dirty.

This movie is definitely a comedy, don't think it's anything else. It's hilarious. It's dark. It's done well, everyone is believable in their roles. It's better than the blurb makes it sound. I loved it. Worth the watch.
