Firstly I will say the positives of the show. The detailing of the show is great. It portrays not so uncommon pursuit of wealth by a young-beautiful woman who is willing to sacrifice every relation to fulfil her unquenchable thirst for materialistic pleasures. However, the ending of the show is abrupt, it makes you wonder whether the writers ran out ideas after Faisal and Saman separated. The character played by Aiman is unrealistically saintly who has no self worth or self respect, it makes me wonder whom should I dislike more Aiman or Saman, atleast saman is fighting for whatever she thinks is right, on the other hand Aiman is hopelessly forgiving and passive( God help those who help themselves). The show talks about check and mate, and conveys the idea in the last episode that Sanam is finally defeated and broken when she is not accepted back in the family, however, to me Aiman appears to be more broken and defeated. The ending is devastating and silly. Faisal’s character is weak, spineless and confused, it kept on changing mindlessly.
