"So There" is an excellent album. It's a mix of piano rock and chamber music. The chamber music in songs such as "Capable of Anything" even comes off as psychedelic at times. Every song has catchy quotable lyrics that are as relate-able as much they are a self representation of Ben Folds himself, naturally. Quotable lyrics such as "Seems what's been good for the music hasn't always been so good for the life." In the song "Threw My Phone In A Pool." Every song from "Not a Fan," to "Yes Man" has qualities that are worth listening to more than once of twice. Songs like "F10DA" are more experimental. The lyrics seem to have been inspired by ancient Greek philosophy. At any rate this is a classic album. Severely underrated if you ask me.
