At first the characters were interesting and the plots entertaining. Subsequently, it became a predictable conflict of Frankie getting into situations with Grace and ruining things with ignorance coupled with pseudo-passion about some immediate issue that suddenly becomes the momentary hill she wishes to die upon. That consistent trope is annoying and lacks creativity. In addition to tired plot design based on mostly static characters, it’s tiresome to be fed social and political commentary when entertainment is supposed to allow the viewer to escape all that. Write fresh character facets. Remove social and political messages. Generate fun plot scenarios.
