i’m not normally one to like intense action packed or violent movies. but with that being said, the joker was a work of art. the entire film was in and of itself a metaphor for his mental illness. the viewer is left not being able to distinguish what really happened from what he had imagined. which for “the joker” that’s a daily struggle. it doesn’t condone his actions of course he was deeply troubled, but it breaks my heart that his problems escalated as they did with no interference and his life was so dark. a truly stunning film.
