If you like even the slightest bit of fact in your historical drama, this is not for you. It very much reminds me of something you would see on the CW channel (think Reign, but boring). The other two series by Starz about English queens were much, much better. This one is monotonous and pretty much a fable. I feel sorry for the actors who have to try and make the storyline interesting because, although the acting is fine, it just doesn’t work.
