The subplots are convoluted and plot holes were created by even bothering to mention then, i found it particularly frustrating when it came to Alibaba's back story. Some parts over explained and other part not explained enough. Morgiana has no personality imo and once her subplot with that jamil guy ended, it doesn't seem like there's much effort in changing the system for slaves. I feel that if they were going to have that be her motivation after getting rescued, she didn't need to be with Aladdin and alibaba. And nothing to complain about with the visuals, they're pretty, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the subplots ruined this anime for me. There's also errors in logic with some of these characters that make it frustrating for me to watch, i guess its not for you if you value characters with common sense, value good subplots, and have some characters with actual depth to them. Because I see none of those things here... but if you care more about world building, ignore people like me and keep watching
