I loved all the side characters (Beatrice and Mary were AMAZING, and I warmed up to Lilith), but Ava has to be one of the most frustrating protagonists out there. The story spends way too long with her running away from her destiny, I found myself hoping she'd get caught so the story could move on. Also, really sh*tty move from the writers, an ending like that isn't satisfying at all. In series like these, every episode serves to set up the next one with the promise of a satisfying ending, and having this ending just feels like spitting on the faces of the audience that has been watching the series.
