I love seeing successful positive black men!! however, the mother and the sandwich shop helper are a bit too much!!! I get it, but can they not be so slapstick, negative stereotypical! I get it the mom had him when she was young, but seriously!! I have to fast forward through all of her scenes!! Pretty sure I'm going to pass on season 2 (because of mom and sandwich employe), but I hope it does well.
