I am a huge teenage mutant ninja turtles fan. I grew up watching the animated series 1987-1996. I watched this movie as a kid so many times. I probably saw secret of the ooze more, but this is better. This is the best TMNT film in my opinion. I would highly recommend it to any TMNT fan. The costume design for that time was phenomenal. While i enjoyed the 2014 remake i still prefer the original. It was ahead of its time. Good for all ages. Do not look past this gem.

Great film to watch with the family. Young Mara Wilson did a good job portraying Matilda. A young gifted girl who was unappreciated by her parents and also had attended a school which was run by a tyrant principal (Miss Trunchbull). At the end got the ferry tale ending she had hoped for. Danny Devito which also directed the film was phenomenal. He is a great actor in my opinion. And the villain Ms Trunchbull played by Pam Ferris also did a phenomenal job. I used to watch this with my family and we would lol. I still love this film. A great comedy/fantasy movie. A fun film for all ages. I recommend you check it out.

Before you read this be warned there are spoilers ahead. I could literally talk all day about this film. This film started it all. It gave birth to one of the most terrifying horror villains ever. It has spawned 10 sequels (including Freddy vs Jason) and a remake in 2009. This is the best horror franchise and i doubt there is a horror fan who doesn't know about it. Being a horror fan myself i love this film. Slasher is my favourite sub genre. Tbh the acting is not the best. As is usually the case with a lot of these films. But you would expect that. It follows the formula most slashers do. A bunch of stupid teenagers doing drugs and having sex and then getting hacked to bits. They have made a lot of slashers in the 80s and early 90s trying to mimic this movie but could not live up to Friday 13th legacy . This film arguably started the slasher genre. Halloween was a bit better, but to me this is scarier. A mongoloids mother getting revenge on camp counselors. Betsy Palmer did a great job portraying a deranged woman seeking revenge for her son that had supposedly drowned in the lake. It was rare to see female killers in horror movies. Though i do prefer Jason she was more realistic. And a young Kevin Bacon was in this film which went on to have a successful career in acting. The special effects were great. Tommie Sovini did a brilliant job. I give the special effects a 9/10. In my opinion this film had one of the best endings in cinematic history. As mentioned above the acting wasn't the best, but with these films it's not about the acting it's more for fun. If the acting was better i would score it higher. This is definitely the best Friday 13th movie. Overall i give Friday 13th 1980 a 6.5/10.

Before i go any further be warned there are spoilers ahead: The Italian plumber is back in yet another adventure. This time he makes a new friend (Cappy) who aids him in his quest. This game is flawless with clever level design and epic boss battles. Using Cappy is a great feature and a lot of fun. You gain control of creatures and items. It doesn't have lives like traditional Mario games but you have to collect a whole stack of coins. I am having a blast playing this game so far. My favourite Mario game to date. This is essential for anyone who likes Mario or platform games in general. Trying to get all the moons will drive you insane but is rewarding as you get an alternate ending. Once you finish the game the fun begins. You have more access to moons which make more items purchasable at the shop. And you unlock new worlds. The final battle with Bowser and the escape is epic. I could talk all day about this game. The only thing i didn't like is that Luigi is absent. Nintendo does it again. Thank you Nintendo for 35 years of Mario. Overall score: 10/10. For anyone who doesn't own this go buy it now.
