This was such a sorry excuse for a sequel that I'd rather have spent my time performing surgery on myself without anesthesia. The first movie did a phenomenal job of distancing itself from the regular ghost story but this movie took a dive both in quality and predictability. Even the suspense was lacking, since a ten-year-old would have been able to guess the ending. It was so distanced from the first movie that if the names were changed, it would be standalone. Just say you think you would have written Chucky better and move on with your life, you don't have to make a movie disguised as a sequel for it.
