Shang Chi has brought asian men forward by creating positive stereotypes for asian boys growing up. I was so proud and happy believing my son would live in a different world to the one i grew up in. On the other hand, this perpetuates the negative stereotype that asian are geeky, unattractive, undesirable and can only win over the girl's heart to date a girl.
