Omggg, I’ve seen many romance k-dramas before this one and I have to say that True Beauty is my ALL TIME FAVORITE. There is literally not a boring part in any of the episodes and everything gets more and more soapy as you watch. I watched this series over 4-5 times and I’m still continuously watching it. I highly recommend this drama if your a romance lover. I ultimately love Cha Eun-Woo as Suho whose hot and cold to jugyeong but only to the hide the fact that he has feelings for her. But the way he slowly tries to express his feelings for her after becoming jealous of Han Seo-Jun played by Hwang In-Youp who acts like the schools bad boy but is actually really soft and playful is so adorable. Eventually after Han Seo-Jun finds out Suho has feelings for jugyeong he starts giving jugyeong attention to press Suho’s buttons but eventually falls in love with her in the process. So now two best friends turned enemies are both in love with the same girl. Jugyeong’s character played by Moon Ga-Young is a really sweet and insecure high school girl who is intimidated by the first pretty girl she see’s and who is hooked up on her appearance. She falls for Suho after finding out that he doesn’t care about the way she looks after trying to hide her real face with her makeup face. With Suho being the only person who knows what she really looks like jugyeong falls for him even more and the way they each try to hide their feelings for each other is so cute but with Han Seo-Jun and the rest of the school getting in the way by shipping jugyeong and Han Seo-Jun it’s hard for them to show their feelings but hide them at the time which sometimes gets annoying but is so lovable. If you want to know more about what happens in the show I suggest you watch it is so worth it. Again, I love this drama and highly recommend it.
