Incredible story with a compelling main character. The worldbuilding is top notch. Some of the sneaking missions can be a bit frustrating due to unclear paths you have to take, but outside of this minor complaint (and some of the less than optimal mechanics like jumping), it's a really immersive game. I was on the fence about buying this due to all of the negative reviews, but if you love the Star Wars universe and sci-fi open world games, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

After playing for roughly 85+ hours, I am bored and disappointed. There are some fun missions via Ryujin and Crimson Fleet, but the main story is repetitive (like the planets and game in general) and contrived. There's no explanation for anything. Weapons are pretty boring. Weapon and suit skills are fairly useless and don't come with any fun perks like FO4 or Skyrim. But more than anything, this game is one large copy & paste. Structures are the same on most planets. Most planets feel identical. It's so large without any depth. I also felt that all of the missions were rushed to the point where they fell flat. The main missions are so drawn out that they lost my interest. I really hope the DLC adds depth, and that mods make this a more exciting and living world.

It crashes every 30 minutes. The frame rate drops so low that it looks terrible on Xbox One (which CDPR said they didn't really take time to design it for after they released it on last gen consoles). It freezes every few minutes. The world itself feels plastic and empty with no real draw to explore other than earning Eddies. It's superficial and soulless. The story is good, but so buggy you can't really enjoy it. And CDPR offered refunds that they couldn't actually provide - Microsoft told me they wouldn't give me a refund because I accessed the game. So, they straight up lied. They created a game that only works on expensive and top shelf gaming systems, is super buggy, is full of the same NPCs across the entire city (which is pretty much empty), and they offered refunds that don't exist. Don't waste your money.
