Made it almost an hour into the movie with absolutely nothing interesting having happened.... extremely boring and definitely not worth watching. Have no idea why this movie is up for any awards.

This movie did what any remake/reboot should. Spent the entire end of the movie happy sobbing on the couch with my mom. 10/10 everybody should see this movie.

Wonderful film, I love every aspect of it, but I do not understand how so many other viewers didnt see the twist coming.

As a horror movie this film flopped for me. There was absolutely no point in the film where I felt scared. The film felt more like an action comedy with the ending fight scene and all the jokes randomly splayed without the movie. The comedy was top notch though, most I've laughed watching a movie in a long time. As just a film it was great, but the actual "horror" aspect I was expecting was not there at all. The jump scares where so predictable, and the cgi monsters looked way too fake and goofy to set any kind of fear within the audience. I still enjoyed the film, it just wasnt scary, at all.

I was extremely disappointed by this movie. The doll design itself was wonderful in my opinion, much more off-putting and scary than the original chucky. But everything else about the movie was horrible. The writing, the story line, the acting, and even the gore scenes where underewhelming, especially that atrocious face prosthetic. I am a huge fan of the original chucky movies, I forced my mom to watch them countless times with me growing up. I was so hopeful for this film, but honestly it is just an overall not well put together film. It's not the worst movie I have ever seen, but it's pretty close.
