I dunno, I just didn't really care for how the story unfolded. The main character was annoying and kept complaining about the same things. I get it, something tragic happened in your life 10 years ago... but the character is now 10 years older, you would think she wouldn't have to constantly talk about it. (honestly it's feels like it's brought up every 5 pages!) the romance in this book went absolutely nowhere. will I read book 2 to find out what happens? yes! but will i'm i looking forward to it, not so much.

I like the idea that the book has, but honestly i don’t care for the main character and how she is written. One moment she has no idea who this david guy is, next she is in love with him? There was no build up about who these characters are. Sure we know what makes them “special” to attend the school, but so what! I want to learn more about them as a person. The writer went too quick with their love story. I haven't read the rest of the books, but i would have like a bigger romantic arc for these two characters.
