Yawn. Lacklustre acting from the leads. Predictable and formulaic. The irony.

This movie borrowed elements of recent horror movies successes - Barbarian and Black Phone. However the story unfolded a little disjointed especially at how it ended. Some laughable moments when the “attack” begin, almost reminding of what one would experience in a typical horror funhouse experience.

Zac Efron makes the worst travel / learning show host. Apart from some of the few adventures, Zac is really unintelligible when tackling some big topics and exploration on how life can be lived more sustainable. Rookie by a mile. The show premise could have benefited from a more inquisitive and articulate host.
