This movie extends beyond the thinking of some. With it’s view of mental health from one who has personal experience to her encounter with it that makes her more attuned than the average person. It’s easy just to see the racial under tones, extending past that is the parenting that denies the existence of real issues to perpetuate stereotypical “woke” Caucasians in America. It’s deep. It’s stirring. It’s good. It’s counter intuitive to society’s views.
