As a film that ties in to the already established MCU it falls flat on it's face. As a solo superhero film it's not even luke warm. Shaqs "Steel" had more character development and emotional range compared to the dull lifeless performance from Brie Larson who at no point looked like she even wanted to be there. Lastly to call this the first female led superhero movie is false. To call this the first marvel female superhero film is false. We had Electra in the early 2000s and Red Sonja in the 80s. This movie is NOT empowering, it's not a trailblazer it's simply a bleh movie with an unlikable lead.
