Genuinely awful film. The writing horrid. No real exploration of characters’ dissatisfaction. Drinking drugs materialism. I live in Connecticut. It has remarkable problems with materialism. As a therapist I’m utterly aware of this. But the movie makes no attempt to draw you in and switch pitch. It is chaos. Woefully predictable. Indeed we were doing that through out the movie successfully out loud. Dont waste your time. Watch something else where some talent was deployed. 2 dimensional. .

This is not a viable movie. Cinema-graphically it is dark - hard to see. The special effects are poor. . Sailing ship supposedly in a blow with still sails? The dracula character while great as a mime - isn't developed at all. I don't understand the hype here. Take a pass - save your money. There are much much better vampire movies. for sure. -

Remarkable remarkable movie. It should win an Oscar for cinematography And art direction. Francis McDarmides representation of madness is quite powerful. The staging Even the music is quite compelling. I’ve seen so many different ways McBeth can be presented this is got to be my favorite. I’m not a professional reviewer you can tell but I really did enjoy this not a scholar but if somebody who loves the entertainment
