I work in automation and have a passion for technology, and this movie feels like it’s written by someone completely opposite! Although some AI scenes are plausible, others are just downright stupid! Remotely being able to overload a tiny length of power lines so that they kill someone, remotely control a crane (even the joystick moves), and unlock what are clearly manual latches is just ridiculous!
It’s like the writer think’s literally everything is connected to the internet and can be remotely accessed. It’s clear this movie is a scare campaign of what’s to come if we continue to rely on technology, by someone with absolutely no idea.
The only saving grace was that the action sequences were good and the acting wasn’t bad.
