I work in automation and have a passion for technology, and this movie feels like it’s written by someone completely opposite! Although some AI scenes are plausible, others are just downright stupid! Remotely being able to overload a tiny length of power lines so that they kill someone, remotely control a crane (even the joystick moves), and unlock what are clearly manual latches is just ridiculous! It’s like the writer think’s literally everything is connected to the internet and can be remotely accessed. It’s clear this movie is a scare campaign of what’s to come if we continue to rely on technology, by someone with absolutely no idea. The only saving grace was that the action sequences were good and the acting wasn’t bad.

I wanted to like this game, I really did! 2 weeks on and I’m sorry to say it but I’m bitterly disappointed. I can’t believe I forked out over $90AUD to buy this game only to find out you need to be connected to their servers to play! I want to take my PlayStation anywhere and play GT7, why must I make sure I have internet for a game I payed for? Further to this, there has been server maintenance twice in a week! So yeah… the game is unplayable. The annoying characters that look like stock photos seem so cheap and tacky! You couldn’t hire some voice actors so I don’t have to sit there reading your pointless text all the time? Cars are often not drivable with the slightest turn causing the car to skid off the track. Want to turn a corner? Make sure you slow down to 30km/h or you’ll just oversteer off the track! But the most annoying thing of all? Why the hell can’t I sell my cars?!?! I don’t want half of these cars, especially when I have multiple of the same car! What the hell PD/Sony!

Probably one of the most nonsensical movies I’ve watched in a long time. I honestly didn’t believe a single character! Who the hell though Helen Mirren as a colonel was a good idea?! I’m not sure if it was bad acting or just bad casting. No army personnel would cry over 1 casualty of war. They’re trained not to let emotions get in the way or question orders, and I’m sure have seen far worse than 1 child losing their life, not to mention knowing first hand what can happen by the hands of terrorists. Then taking 2 minutes to even fire the missile?! Please, I’m very sure that missile would have been primed to go and be launched at a click of a button. As others have said, the intel on the girl selling bread would have been gathered way beforehand and prevented. Even if not, surely they can be more creative than just sending in bucket guy.

I wouldn’t bother reviewing a TV show normally but this show is actually insulting to viewers. The ENTIRE show is fake. The judges are told who to guess and Hughesy is told to guess someone way off as supposedly it’s funny. The audience has zero say in who stays and who goes with the producers deciding based on the most well known “celebrity” staying till the end. Even the singing isn’t real as it’s prerecorded and the celebrity mimes under the costume. Can’t believe it’s been approved for another season!

This had the potential of being such a great game but instead it’s just frustrating! I’ll start with the few good points. There is a lot more weapons than the original, and crafting is definitely improved. The graphics aren’t mind blowing but still very impressive. Now for the bad points... There seems to be more cut scenes then actual game play! If I wanted a movie I’d buy a freakin movie! The storyline is terrible, it doesn’t hook you in like the original game and you continuously find yourself saying “come on already!” You spend all this time building up an awesome collection of weapons and items just to switch characters halfway through the game and you have to do it all over again! *SPOILERS* They kill off Joel, the best character of the original game, and then force you to play his killer! The main character being lesbian doesn’t bother me one bit, but it’s like Naughty Dog are really trying to make a statement about it with super long intimacy scenes and it’s just unnecessary.
