Amazing film, perfectly acted and accurate depiction of addiction, not just to food but addiction in general, I think you need to have fought and won against any addiction to understand how believable this is, addressing fear, selfishness, sorrow, loathing, guilt and irrational thinking. People who don't like this because it doesn't show Christianity in a good light shouldn't be reviewing it as this is about the real world and people, not your personal beliefs, not everyone believes the same as you. This was an excellent film for people with open minds and are unblinkered.

Although not historically accurate (which it never claimed to be) I thought it was a very good watch from the scenery to the acting. Yes, there were a few things that were skipped over but you get that in most films. Thoroughly enjoyed the magic and grandness of it all I don't think it was made to point fingers at any religion, just a dramatisation of a story and completely deserving of 4 stars.

Complete garbage I assumed it was being strung out with nothing much happening to finish big but was very disappointed, extremely poor ending which left you absolutely nowhere. I even forwarded to the end of the credits as I thought it was some kind of joke to finish so abruptly with no conclusions resolved.

Absolutely fantastic, really touched my heart, could imagine reacting like this myself even though some might think it unconventional. Makes you think about how you should live life.

Fantastic film, Cooper gives a very real representation of what addiction can be like, Gaga has has opened my eyes to how talented she really is as an actress as well as a singer. Very sad but beautiful film, thoroughly enjoyed watching every second of it.
