Doesn't compare to the original at all. It's pretty funny at parts and has its own shock value, but the entire movie feels rushed. Chucky's design is ugly, but in a way that makes it hard to be afraid of. This movie is a perfect example of bad modern remakes, and the stretches to make them relatable to today.
