You have it wrong Pungut is in Sydney Harbour not off the Coast of Sydney.
before you place in any other remarks about Australia you should first ask an Australian, not a University Drop Out.

From the eara of movies the actors had to realy play the part that they took, which is more than they do today.

When I saw this movie I found it very good, The reason being it had people from that Country in it not just the main actor, to me this made the movie.

This movie is as true as it can be of how our Australian War Tribunal was defeated by the US who would not let them have the prisoners that could tell the truth about what happened to all pilots shot down over or around the Island of Ambon. When you see this movie you will see how the US military permitted by the US Government moved POWs from Japan around so that they were not or cold not stand trial and give the real truth. When I first saw this movie it brought home to me as just what the US Government thought about Australia and our Troops.

This movie is as true as it can be of how all of our young men were treated by a Country that only believed in punishing everyone that surrendered. But in ending I am still amazed as to why the Emperor was not made to say sorry for what the Japanese Military did under his command and I place the full blame on the shoulders of the USA. There were and still are thousands of then children that grew up like myself not really knowing my real Father and the greatest amount of these men lost their lives under the treatment of the Japanese and until the day the now or future Emperor says sorry I will never forgive them for what they did.
