I tried to watch it with a fresh take. I loved the original, but I understood they wanted to take this one a different direction. I wasn’t keen on it, but it is what it is. The first episode, I barely got through. The older sister drove me up a wall, but the other two I could get on board with. Then the second came on, then the third...it’s horrible. They have focused so much on the magical aspect...they forgot about what made the first one so special, the bond between three strong sisters. Plus that older sister just got more annoying. “I don’t need a strong white man to help!”....then stop acting like an idiot, and stop reminding us every five seconds that your women rights...we get it!
