TLDR: It was good, go watch it. Most of the criticism is bogus, totally worth 30 bucks. Most of the negative reviews are either completely subjective, like how the people’s teeth are too white, or blatant ignorant, that disney making movie means they support Chinese concentration camps. Funny thing is this movie is not based on Chinese culture of characters. This is the most beautiful animation i’ve seen from any studio, and the fact that most of it was animated from home is a testament to the passion that was poured into this movie. The emotional scenes hit hard, and the most important ones don’t fall into a comedy trap, which was surprising and refreshing. The story is pretty tightly knit, maybe one or two things that aren’t explained, but i wouldn’t say the are plot holes because they may have broken up the pace to explain fine details. Overall one of the best movies Disney Animation has made in awhile. Watch it if you want a good time!
