I respected MSNBC and Scarborough until the network added Al Sharpton. to its list of pundits. I grew up asa resident of Philadelphia, where the infamous Tawana Brawley hoax was perpetrated and promoted by Sharpton. At that time sharpton was a chubby, highly vocal self promoter who at the time exploited the hoax--later exposed-- to raise himself to a modest degree of prominence Since then his appearances, in a less obese form, have sadly reduced the MSNBC network's appeal and credibility. I have yet to observe that Sharpton has ever expressed an original thought, depending on the remarks of others to provide him with something to say. You Tube records a revealing debate between Sharpton and Chnristpher Hitchens which reveals a more accurate picture of Sharpton than does diminished MSNBC. It is highly entertaining.
