This TV drama is well paced and the writing is absolutely stunning at times. There are amazing characters, which are all played extremely well; not to mention a great amount of inter twined storylines, love triangles and challenges. This is definitely a great binge watch drama, I watch tis over 2 1/2 days, so for all those who want to see what the strength of friendship, loyalty and adventure can do to empower and build character. I love the element of pure love mixed in with tragedy and the costs of fighting a war. I love the comedy value in the show, as well as the serious elements. A few character twists and tragedies really help the storyline at times. The drama doesn't have a typical happy ending, yet there is closure and satisfaction which ends the drama quite well. There are a lot of excess special effects which could have been taken away, but you do get used to it after a while. All in all, I would definitely watch this again. Great writing, great cast and a great drama! WELL WORTH A WATCH

One of the greatest fast paced historical dramas I have seen. I binged watched this over 2 days. I was really pleased with the storyline and routed for the couple from beginning to end. I wish the ending lasted longer. If you like pure love that endures regardless of trials, watch this drama. If you like heroine's that develop over time and through hardship, then watch this drama. If you like watching evil characters develop, turn psychotic, then watch this drama. If you like CSI type flashbacks, then watch this drama. If you like strong male leads and well developed characters then watch this drama. If you like seeing characters rise and fall, then watch this drama.

This TV drama is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of watching. In fact I would say over a long 3 and 1/2 days, I watched the whole series, barely sleeping. From the beginning you are swept up in a whirlwind of lies, neglect, competition and struggle. You are given the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of those who struggle in apparently high places. You are forced to suffer alongside the main characters, constantly wishing for their success, freedom, development and victory; for some characters, they're absolute destruction. By the end, you are taught the need for a dual personality in order to be able to navigate the waters of "elite" life. Wars are first won in the mind and the characters in this, must always have a mind sharpened for war. The family is where the first war starts and the power struggles erupt every where as a result. This is a master example of how to write a great screen play and to create an amazing high adrenaline narrative. Do not judge a book by its cover, as strength and truth comes in a variety of forms, as does so does love. I will be recommending this to as many of my colleagues and friends as possible. Simply amazing.
