Easily the best movie watching experience in a long time. What a beautiful performance by every single cast member. It takes a special skill to not give everyone near endings while also leaving you with hope. Would watch this a few times for sure. What a refreshing change from the jingoistic nonsense cluttering our screens around it

I sobbed like a baby. And if that isn't a review enough, it's quiet, it's evocative, it's real and beautiful. I may be biased and watch anything and everything Dan Levy touches, but the man really has a gift for turning the everyday into something extraordinary. Some stunning shots, the choice of color palette, the eulogy, the exhibition at the end and the lawyer's bit shine for me. Watch it and make everyone watch it too. And thank you so much for letting queer characters tell stories without embellishments to let the 'queerness' be a character note.

Easily one of the most wonderful rom coms I have seen so far :) Sensitive, culturally respectful, warm, funny, awkward and Emma Thomson is a delight! I love how it's finally depicting Muslim folx as living warm, regular, lives and aren't victims or perpetrators of harm. Every single cast member shines and I have no idea why it's not more popular.

An incredibly painful and important watch. Perhaps it was the context in which I watched it that allowed me to focus on the unforgettable performances and incredible messages and nuance in it. Also one of the more powerful and memorable soundtracks in recent times. It can be a very, very difficult watch, so perhaps watch it in safe company. Hats off to the team

Broke my heart so much. The children's performances were awful at best. Everyone else shone. Every character, every scene. Takes something special to take grief and make it a ghost story.

Slow but how it builds!!! Raises some fantastic questions around faith and some unforgettable performances
