This is a fun film, some subtle humour, actors all in good form, if you don't mind a bit of gore, and slightly creaky CGI, it's pretty entertaining. The central father/daughter relationship works well enough, and Richard E Grant and Tea Leoni are having a hoot as partners, a bit similar to the former's with Rosamund Pike in Saltburn. A few clearly deliberate call backs to Jurassic Park and Jaws, but the film is closer to the first of those than the second.
