I’ve never seen such a powerful fact illustrated through a movie as well as in this one.
You’d think this is a weird basic movie, if you’d watch the trailer you’d know it doesn’t do it justice. The movie though, was something else. I’ve never felt so many emotions, this movie is everything you would NEVER expect. It all starts out so great, yet it all goes downhill so incredibly fast. This movie illustrates the power and the sad truth behind the social powers. You see a family living literally under, in a low poverty town, with no jobs, and then you have your basic unhappy rich family, located in a high class town, in the movie you see how they start to work for the rich, just like in society. It’s always the low working for the rich, but not even that, |SPOILER COMING| when they find the people underground in their literal house, it’s even much of a stronger reference, the poor LITERALLY always being under the rich. But even a stronger reference is by the very end, Once the son got the Morse code through the lights, and he understands his dads message, when he writes back he specifically says he will grow to be successful and get enough money to buy the house back, (we even see a reference of him being older coming back to the house) going back on to his message, he says he’ll buy it for them. For the family, and so they’ll be able to have what they didn’t have. In the real world like in any situation, many children always grow up to look up to their parents and they will always want to give them back what they couldn’t of have, (in this case, they were poor and had nothing. He just wanted to give back to his family. To be able to have what they never did.) This movie was a master piece.
