Brilliant film, incredible performances from Johnathon Pryce and Anthony Hopkins. Totally absorbing with some humorous moments. This is a movie I would watch again.

Very disappointed with this film. Confusing time line and a very annoying musical score. Another very strange part of the film was the fact that the town of Dunkirk was in very good condition and very modern looking. I also thought that the scenes of the soldiers on the beach were unconvincing, all the soldiers in nice orderly queues looked wrong while planes dive bombed them. It also didn't get across that 300'000 soldiers were evacuated. Did we skimp on the extras budget !!!! On a positive note the aerial dogfight scenes were very impressive and well done but not enough in themselves to rescue the film.
