This game could have been so much more. As a huge WW2 buff and avid player of MW 2019, I had high hopes for this game. However, it's turned out to be a half-hearted attempt at a World at War recreation that's not quite the flop that Cold War was and not the success that MW 2019 was landing somewhere in the middle and leaving the player feeling very average. The fact that the game uses MW 2019's engine gives a subtle feeling of familiarity and excitement but that's crushed quickly by the clunky movement, terrible graphics, and poor map layouts that are reminiscent of Cold War. It's really disheartening to think about what this game could have been and to see what it is. After spending a couple days now on this game; I'm left with two things on my mind: 1. If Caldera is this average, it seems I will be giving up Warzone as well and 2. A sequel to MW 2019 (presumably MW 2) can't be released fast enough.
