The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.
While it does not cleave exactly to the books as some fans may have expected, the story brims with the heart of the books. Unfortunately sacrifices and changes to the pace of the story did need to take place.
Regardless, the showrunners did a fantastic job of making it approachable for newcomers and showing the heart of the books while changing some of the bones for a fresh experience.
