This deserves 5 stars. This is the first Netflix original in a long time that has kept me actually wanting to watch it. First of all: THE ACTING, so good. And yes this is relatively more in comparison to all other Netflix originals, but honestly I can’t stand bad acting and there was only 2 bad actors in the whole thing being Beths dad and sister. Thank goodness they weren’t on screen too much because they kinda would throw off the balance. Second: I see a lot of reviews saying “so many things are just too unrealistic” such as the coach drinking with her cheerleaders, the girls always getting drunk with no parents concern, or the coach having an unnatural relationship with a girl on the team; but they are honestly just oblivious to things that happen in real life. Maybe they don’t all happen at the same time within one circle of people, but they all happen more than it should tbh. I will really be hoping some way, some how there is a second season because honestly I was hooked and am saddened I can’t watch a next season. SO GOOD MEGAN ABBOTT.
