If you love the old comics and cartoons, you'll love this. More canon then any of the new Bay movies. Tells the story of Cybertron before the Civil war.

A massive part of Louis story is how long he spent with Lestat. They cut that in half because they didn't want Louis to be a rich slave owner? All the changes made me look up the reasons why they did what they did. I don't get it. It does nothing but but make the story telling confusing and their connection meaningless. Louis gets to tell 100 years of story instead of 200. They make him an outlier in 1910, instead of just being true to the book and allowing him to change over his eternal life... The actors are phenomenal, it's the writing that trash and an affront to Anne's hard work.

It took me forever to watch it but it was epic. I'm surprised Google has let all the fake 1 star reviews slide, because wow there is a ton. The ones that go into detail seem to have watched a totally different movie lol It's a meta societal critique about how one gender having all the power is bad for everyone, regardless of the gender. It serves to help everyone reflect on those issues. It literally highlights the pitfalls of toxic femininity and masculinity. The bigger take away is overcoming unrealistic standards and expectations put forth by society, whether that be gender standards or beauty. It's about finding out who you are when the fake world around you collapses. I was totally caught off guard by a movie about my favorite childhood toy, I was not expecting it to be as deep as it was or make me think as much as it did. I just mad I rented it and didn't buy it lol

It was great! Having read the comics,the only thing they should've had was Oracle. But it was great, action packed, funny and the actors were great. Great runner up to Wonder Woman for kickass women everywhere. Must see!
